1. Punctuality: Staff are expected to arrive on time for their shift and adhere to the start and end times set by the Manager/Supervisor of their work place.

2. Dress code: Staff must present themselves in clean and appropriate attire. This means wearing a clean uniform (if provided) or well-fitted clothing that is comfortable, neat, and suitable to the environment they are working in.

3. Personal hygiene: Maintaining excellent personal hygiene is vital for all our staff, but especially those working in a kitchen or restaurant . This includes washing hands frequently, wearing gloves as necessary, and keeping hair, nails, and beard (if applicable) clean and groomed.

4. Alcohol and drug use: Staff must refrain from alcohol and drug consumption during work time, as it can impair judgement, pose danger to themselves or others, and affect their work performance and conduct.

5. Respect: All staff are expected to be respectful to their colleagues, supervisors, and customers, treating everyone with dignity, professionalism, and courtesy at all times.

6. Safety and Standards: Staff must follow all the guidelines and procedures of the business they are working for in order to maintain a safe, efficient and productive workplace. This includes reporting any defects, health and safety breaches, or discovered hazards to the local Manager/Supervisor.

8. Confidentiality: Staff must keep any sensitive or confidential information related to the place of work or business operations private and secure. This includes customer information, recipes, financial data, and internal communication.

9. Communication: Effective communication is key to the success of any work place. Staff are expected to communicate effectively with their colleagues, supervisors, and customers, using a professional, clear, and respectful tone.

10. Adherence to company policies: Staff must abide by all company policies, rules, and regulations of both Streets Ahead Catering Recruitment Ltd and the business they are working for, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and quality standards that contribute to a successful and reputable business.
